Several members of the Schneider Publishing staff participated in the National Day of Service in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, on Monday, January 19.

Schneider Publishing staff members pulled kitchen duty at the Union Rescue Mission in Downtown Los Angeles, helping to serve more than 1,000 men, women and children breakfast during a three-hour period. In addition to providing meals, the Union Rescue Mission also provides emergency shelter, health and dental care, a legal clinic, a recovery program and a transitional housing program.
