I was in NYC this week meeting with some journalists and took the Acela Express to DC for another series of journalist meetings. This was the very first time that I had the experience of riding the Acela … let me tell you, I don’t want to fly ANYMORE!! From the ease of getting through security, laptop access for emailing, cell phone usage, café car and the humanness of the Amtrak staff, I totally enjoyed the two hours on the train!! I was able to be productive during my time spent on the train. Acela is happening! I wish President Obama well on his vision to expand our high speed rail system all across this great country!! It seems that Acela is the model that is worth duplicating. Again, let’s keep pushing to do our part to change the world!! Continued success!
